Purification: Purified from inclusion bodies using B-PER Buffer (Pierce). Solubilized rEur m 2 was refolded by dialysis into 20 mM Tris, 1mM EDTA, pH 8.5. Purity >95% by SDS-PAGE.

Formulation: 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.5, sterile filtered.

Storage: Store at -20◦C. Re-freeze unused portion and aliquot into smaller quantities to avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Gently defrost at room temperature.

Notes: (1) rEur m 2.0101 is suitable for T-cell or other in vitro studies but does not react in the Group 2 mite ELISA. (2) Does react with anti-Group 2 mAb DpX which is used for specific IgE measurements in the chimeric ELISA. (3) Not tested for endotoxin.
